Rachel’s awesome remains — Gulf Shores beach. The large lumber schooner Rachel was built in 1919 at Moss Point by DeAngelo. The remains are visible in the sand beach. How I wish we could get the permission to save these remains for the Mississippi Maritime Museum! Anyone else want to do that? See the Rachel before departure and loss at sea below …
